Old Post Office Shop Front in Chepstow
The old post office has been converted into new office space housing Properts and Galbraith solicitors. The existing windows were all removed and replaced with a new entrance following strict listings guidelines. The style and use of the existing leadlights had to be retained resulting in a stylish old building providing the top of the town with a new, clean bright image.
Large Barn Conversion
This monastic grain store for Tintern Abbey has been converted into four residential dwellings. I was commissioned to make all the external joinery which included 16 windows, 4 sets of french doors, 4 front doors, 2 floor to roof screens, one of which is shown above. All internal staircases I made from American Ash and external joinery from Idigbo.
Small Conservatory
This tiny conservatory was built in the workshop and made to squeeze into a tiny existing back yard. It fitted around existing stone walls and used up every little bit of available space. This small improvement made a huge difference to the warmth of the house as the back elevation was single glazed.
